Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American stage actress and producer, is well-known for her role in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actress active in theatre, television and film. Her acting career started in the theatre. She then appeared in several television shows, independent films and mainstream movies. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted as Ariel on stage in The Tempest. The credits on stage comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. Coming to her movie career she is renowned for her performances in films such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help.
