Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was another film where she starred. In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well the Romanian Drama Boogie. Later, she had a major role in the 2014 film Fury in which she portrayed the role of a German woman who was named Irma the aunt of Emma.
