Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician and the founding of the heavy metal group Motley Crue. Along with being the group's long-term drummer Lee formed the rap metal group Methods of Mayhem and has been involved in solo projects. Lee is a PETA member and a fervent advocate for animal rights. Lee wrote Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president to express his displeasure over Tilikum's treatment of Tilikum. Lee believed that the orca should be set free and claimed that SeaWorld did not agree, considering that Tilikum is their most important sperm donor. Lee expressed his displeasure at SeaWorld's inept and bizarre method to obtain Tilikum fertile. Lee decided that he would like to prevent further tragedies of trainers getting killed, because these tragedies were caused by the whales' aversion to being held in captivity.
